Learn about the fascinating life of Elizabeth Gaskell, the authoress of Cranford and friend of Charlotte Bronte. This tour visits places in Manchester and Knutsford connected with her busy social and literary lifestyle, and looks at how her books reflect this.

Trafford Park & Salford Quays Tour

Once a stately home and park belonging to the de Trafford family, this area saw a rapid transformation into the world’s first industrial park in the 19th century.
